Julie went above and beyond to help us when we brought home a new 9mo GSD/Malinois pup who had no good boundaries and some anxious defensive behaviors. She traveled over an hour to come to our home to get the best picture of how to help our Uma and was a huge help in teaching myself and my husband how to communicate with her. With Julie’s help and continued work, Uma is blossoming into a wonderful young lady! It is obvious how much Julie cares about her clients both furry and human. She truly understands dogs and wants to see them be successful.😊

Julie is incredible!! She knows what she’s doing when it comes to dog training. After trying to train my pup for a couple weeks I didn’t get too far. I left my pup with her for 5 days and I saw a complete 180 with him. He stopped jumping on people, he was a lot better on the leash, the barking had stopped and was learning commands.

Julie has years of experience working with dogs and their owners! She helped me and my mix Border Collie to go through a very difficult time. My BC was less than year old and already afraid to death of his world around, launching at kids, adults and other dogs. I was told that the only option we had was to put him to sleep, his future was uncertain being so young and so aggressive at the same time. I felt heartbroken to have to take a decision like this. He was a baby! Then Julie appeared and she rescued him.Jay was trained for a couple of weeks, one to one at Julie’s facility and he got over his fears. Julie’s amazing understanding of dog language and her presence makes our four legged friends to feel at easy and over safe and cooperative. Julie is one of a kind. I have two large dogs, a staffie/Australian cattle dog mix who is 80+ pounds whom I’ve had for 4 years;, and a great Pyrenees/great Dane who is 120 pounds and was added to the family a little over a year ago. I have let them run rough shod over me which had caused no small amount of stress for both them and me.
Upon my first contact with Julie, I could tell immediately her love for what she does And her dedication to her craft. She was generous with suggestions to get me started with teaching the dogs how to think and cope without force. She also astutely pointed out, after hearing my story, that I am the problem with the pups’ guarding and anxiety behaviors. I appreciate Julie’s, no nonsense, frank, yet kind approach, as this is what resonates with me. I didn’t think it was possible to meet someone who loves their dogs, and really all dogs, just as much if not more than I do, but I found that person and Julie.
I am very much looking forward to working more with Julie, learning from her on how to be a better human for my fur babies, and giving them the structure and the tools to navigate this world with confidence. I am grateful to have found Julie, who came extremely highly recommended from my vet. My only regret is that I did not meet her four years and several thousand dollars in training earlier. Julie is the best! I called many trainers before deciding to work with Julie. It was apparent from the start that helping dogs and their owners live their best lives together is her passion.
We rescued a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix, and integrating her with our other animals was challenging. I did all the same things I did with our other rescues. And everything the rescue group said to do, and it just wasn't working. Piper was proving to be a unique girl with her own ideas on how things should go, and she had no qualms about letting everyone know.
One session with Julie, and she gave me tools to help Piper find a sense of security and calm that day. With each passing session, Piper continued to improve at an astonishing rate. We have gone from complete chaos to peace in just 3 months. Things are going so well that you would think Piper has been with us for years. All thanks to Julie! And her deep well of tools and endless knowledge of dogs and humans!

We loved working with Julie, especially because she came to our home and taught us skills in our day-to-day environment with our pup. She taught us so many strategies to help us with our corgi. Julie speaks dog! She was able to solve issues we were having with our dog for years in just a few sessions. She was able to pick up on the core of the issue we were having, instead of what we thought thr issue was. We now have a dog who not only responds in the way we wanted, but ALSO a calm dog that is less anxious (dramatically less) because she has a routine and knows what's coming next. I couldn't recommend her highly enough. She is an amazing dog trainer and all around amazing human.
